What's In A Name

The first part of our name, INFO, stands for “information”. Organizations acquire, collect, analyze, model, classify, verify, cleanse, transform, enhance, process, govern, distribute and archive information on a daily base. They rely on information for discussing, measuring, decision-making, marketing and selling. Information is of the utmost importance to an organization: it is its “lifeblood”.

Having correct, accurate, well-understood information is becoming critical for an organization. The sheer volume of data inside a company, the multiple points of interaction with it, the different formats and platforms it resides on and the increasing regulations related to data privacy and data governance have created significant complexity in using the information that is available.
